Raw Cocoa Butter

Raw cocoa butter from Ghana is a premium, natural vegetable fat extracted from the fermented and roasted cocoa beans of the Theobroma cacao tree. Ghana is globally recognized for its high-quality cocoa, and the cocoa butter derived from it is prized for its purity, rich nutrients, and creamy texture.

Key Characteristics:

  • Color: Pale yellow to light ivory
  • Texture: Solid at room temperature, but melts easily when applied to skin (melting point around 34–38°C)
  • Aroma: Natural, rich, and slightly sweet chocolate scent
  • Purity: 100% pure, unrefined, and free from additives or chemicals
  • Extraction Method: Cold-pressed or expeller-pressed from high-grade Ghanaian cocoa beans

Composition:

  • Main Fatty Acids: Oleic acid, stearic acid, and palmitic acid
  • Moisture Content: Low (typically below 0.1%)
  • Shelf Life: 1.5 to 2 years when stored in a cool, dry place
